Introduction

I am a barrister with specialist expertise in road traffic and motoring law. I have rights of audience in all courts (in all proceedings) in England & Wales and I am authorised to practise by the Bar Standards Board. I am qualified to accept Public Access cases and also accept instructions from solicitors in the traditional way.

I am experienced in defending very serious cases, as well as less serious matters that can have serious consequences if they result in a conviction or disqualification from driving. I am known for giving clear and realistic advice to clients and for identifying the real issues in the case. Most of my clients have no previous experience of the legal system and it can sometimes appear overwhelming. I am committed to ensuring that cases are fairly resolved with the minimum possible delay, stress and expense.

I bring a mixture of experience, objectivity and reality to the issues in the case. All cases are thoroughly prepared and client meetings are well prepared and structured. I provide realistic advice and ensure that my clients feel well supported throughout the process and are clear about the road ahead.
